Entering Marks and Calculating CLO Attainment

From marks to attainment

When you add questions to a class activity and tag each question to a CLO, the system can measure attainment automatically.

The workflow

1. Create the activity under the course offering and add its questions.
2. Map every question to a CLO (and, where required, a rubric).
3. Enter student marks through the assessment screen or by uploading the Excel assessment template.
4. Open CLO Attainment for the offering — the system calculates the percentage of students who achieved each CLO.

Reading the result

Attainment is typically expressed as the share of students scoring above the set threshold. Course-level CLO attainment rolls up into PLO attainment for the batch.
